“BROTHERS & SISTERS” é um drama sobre uma família americana que vive na Califórnia. Na série, iremos conhecer os irmãos adultos da família Walker que são muito próximos, apesar de seus problemas, e apóiam uns aos outros incondicionalmente enquanto esforçam-se para seguir o ideal de perfeição de seus pais exemplares. Eles irão enfrentar tentações, decepções e luto.

Os pais são William (Tom Skerritt), o patriarca e presidente dos negócios da família, e Nora Holden (Sally Field, “ER”), a esposa que gosta de opinar sobre tudo e mãe dos cinco filhos. Cercando a família também estão Saul Holden (Ron Rifkin, “Alias”), o petulante irmão de Nora; Joe (John Pyper-Ferguson, “Night Stalker”), o marido de Sarah; Julia (Sarah Jane Morris, “Felicity”), a esposa de Tommy; e Holly (Patricia Wettig, “Prison Break”), uma misteriosa mulher que poderá derrubar os Walkers e a empresa deles.
